Please note that Silver Leaf Coins is a trading style of its parent business, Alveta Silverleaf, and that all correspondence is handled under the Alveta Silverleaf name, including communications and financial processing. Alveta Silverleaf is wholly owned by Mr Alexander Johnson as a sole trader.

Disclaimer of Liability

By using our site and services, you agree that under no circumstances shall Silver Leaf Coins, its parent (“Alveta Silverleaf”), owners, affiliates and employees be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or any other type of loss or injury resulting from your use or downloading of any content on our site, or from any advice or any other communication received by you from us. 

By using our site and its services, you agree to be bound by the above.

Communications

Communication is via Alveta Silverleaf, as the parent trading business. Therefore when corresponding with us by email, please do note that all emails will be in the @alveta.co.uk format.

"Content" means any information, mode of expression, or other material and services found on Silver Leaf Coins. Our content is intended for individual, personal use only. You may copy and distribute any content found on our site or provided in any emails from us provided that i) such material is for non-commercial use, and ii) any material copied remains intact and includes the following notice: "Copyright 2014 Silver Leaf Coins. All rights reserved." AND includes an html hyperlink to our site e.g. http://www.silverleafcoins.co.uk. Any sort of commercial use of our content is strictly prohibited without our prior written permission.

Purchases

Currently, we offer PayPal as the means of payment as it allows you to pay by debit or credit card even without a PayPal account. We may expand this in the future, but please note we do NOT accept cash or cheque (including eCheque) payments at the moment.

When making payment by Paypal, you will see that ALVETA SILVERLEAF is the payment recipient. This is the parent business by which all banking is handled. If paying by card, you will see either ALVETA SL or ALVETA SILVERLEAF as the recipient on your bank statements.

The PayPal site is highly secure, and uses industry-leading technology (such as SSL) to keep your information safe. PayPal automatically encrypts your confidential information in transit from your computer to PayPal using the Secure Sockets Layer protocol (SSL) with an encryption key length of 128-bits (the highest level commercially available). Before you even register or log in to the PayPal site, the PayPal server checks that you're using an approved browser - one that uses SSL 3.0 or higher. Once your information reaches the PayPal site, it resides on a server that is heavily guarded both physically and electronically. PayPal servers sit behind an electronic firewall and are not directly connected to the internet, so your private information is available only to authorized computers.

Returns and Refunds

We offer an excellent, clear 14-day refund policy if you are unhappy for any reason, or do not wish to keep the coins. Please go to our Delivery & Returns page for full details. However, in cases where our Terms and Conditions of return have not been met, refunds are at the discretion of Silver Leaf Coins.

This includes return outside of 14 days or where the coins have been damaged or handled by the buyer so as to degrade the finish (silver is very susceptible to the oils on human skin), or are for any other reason not in a re-saleable condition as a result of the buyer’s actions.

Your statutory rights are not affected and the UK's Distance Selling Regulations apply in the case of all sales.

To arrange a return, we will need to give you a returns number in order to identify your return. Returns must be arranged by the buyer via a tracked courier. Silver Leaf Coins will NOT be responsible for items returned to us and lost or damaged by the courier, therefore it is in the buyer’s interest to ensure that a tracked (and, if appropriate, insured) courier is used.

Other T&Cs

If any provision in this Agreement is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect. This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales as if the Agreement was a contract wholly entered into and wholly performed within England.
